PHASE 2 - EXTERIOR AND LANDSCAPE TRANSFORMATION

The natural beauty of Casa dos Sonhos lies not only in its structures, but in the land itself—the trees, the light, the silence between things. The grounds are already rich with life, but with thoughtful care and subtle design, they can elevate the entire space to a new level of harmony and presence. Phase 2 brings focused attention to this—placing plants with intention in front of windows, along paths, and near key viewpoints to frame the landscape like living artwork. By using what is already here—through replanting, layering textures, and composing with color and form—we create beauty that feels effortless and alive. This approach is simple, quick, and cost-effective, yet deeply transformative, adding soul and refinement to the sitio in a way that supports every house and every person who passes through.

Absolutely—here is a well-written, professional, and inspiring section for Phase 2: Exterior and Landscape Transformation, integrating all of your ideas and painting a clear, artistic, and structured picture of what will be done.

Driveway + Entrance Renovation
• The entire driveway will be redone using natural stone, creating a solid and beautiful path that feels connected to the forest around it.
• The front fence, made of wood, will be fully restored and artistically finished, potentially with carvings, staining, or natural detailing to reflect the spirit of the site.
• Above the fence, a protective roof structure will be added—a traditional method to shield wooden fences from the heavy rainfall common in the region, prolonging its life and adding an architectural feature.
• At the main entrance, a Santo Daime jagube vine will be planted and trained to grow across the top of the gate structure, forming a living canopy. Over time, this vine will create a powerful natural arch—symbolic, sacred, and stunning. Guests will enter the site by driving beneath the living strength of the jagube, setting a tone of reverence and beauty from the very first moment.

Brick Patio & Outdoor Dining Space
• The brick area in front of the Big House—currently occupied by an old tool shed—will be cleared.
• The shed will be removed completely, and in its place, a large wooden pergola or trellis will be installed using reclaimed train wood or similar large, aged beams.
• Under this pergola, a wooden dining table and outdoor furniture will be placed, creating a shaded, welcoming area for group meals, gatherings, or quiet reflection.
• The trellis can either be left open to the sky for a wild, organic feel, or optionally finished with a transparent glass cover for weather protection while maintaining light and openness.

Back Utility Structure (Behind Reinado)
• Tucked discreetly into the back area next to the Reinado, a simple wooden structure will be built using treated wood and glass—designed to be quick, inexpensive, and highly functional.
• This space can serve multiple purposes:
• Firewood storage
• Laundry and cleaning area
• Tool organization
• Ayahuasca feitio prep station
• Outdoor sink and workspace
• Nestled near the jungle and away from the main houses, this structure will feel hidden yet essential—a quiet support system for everything that happens on the land.

Garden Restoration & Botanical Expansion
• The gardens of Casa dos Sonhos will be fully revitalized and restructured. Through the careful replanting of cuttings already on the land, the site will multiply its beauty organically.
• A clear focus will be placed on adding more flowering species, shaping architectural layers of plant life, and curating textures, colors, and rhythms across the land—making the gardens not only alive, but artfully alive.
• Special attention will be given to the central garden space, which will be developed into a fully functioning organic food garden—growing vegetables, herbs, and healing plants to nourish both body and soul.
• This phase can evolve naturally over time, with consistent planting, pruning, and rearranging. It is simple, yet profoundly transformative—lifting the energy and appearance of the site to an entirely new level.

Exterior Lighting and Night Illumination
• A solar lighting system will be installed around the gardens and pathways to ensure safe, low-impact illumination.
• Warm, artistic lighting will be placed around the exterior of the homes to create an interplay between shadow, structure, and nature—enhancing the magic of the land at night.
• The result will be a soft, ambient glow that wraps the site in subtle beauty, allowing the jungle and architecture to continue speaking, even after sunset.
